It’s a great privilege to have the Royal Norwegian Ambassador to Ghana, Her Excellency lngrid Mollestad and the Director of Engineers without Boarders Norway, Marianne Nilsen Sturmair to grace the official opening event of the Youth Empowerment and Community Centre built at Kambusigo in the Bongo district through Trax Ghana and Engineers without Boarders partnership. Also present at the momentous event were traditional and opinion leaders, heads of departments, members of the Kambusigo community and the media. The project commenced in November 2022 and, in just three months, has transformed into a magnificent building. The facility houses a conference hall, a library, a computer lab, a server room, a store and office space, all designed to serve multiple roles. The centre will provide unique academic and enrichment experiences for youth, to innovate, to empower themselves, and to become future leaders. The center will also serve as a tool to strengthen social networks and community mobilization and participation.
